Plastic Storage Bin


i want to paint a design on the top of a plastic storage tub. What is the best paint to use?

I have already tried basic craft paint and it just peeled right off.

Get paint specifically made for plastic and you should have no problem. It almost always comes in a spray can.

You may want to slightly rough up the surface you plan to paint, but go lightly or the scratches may show after you paint.

You can find primer for plastics at the hardware store. It comes in spray form. Then use paints made for plastics. You may want to put a coat or two of acrylic on top of the finished product to give it a little more protection. Have fun!!
