How Can I Cut Through A Plastic Storage Container Easily?
The trunk of my car is sealed shut, but I can still get into the trunk from the inside of my car. Now the real problem is this huge plastic storage container is blocking most of the space in the trunk. To make matters worse, the space in my car which leads to the trunk is not large enough to remove the container intact. Hopefully, I can just cut through it since the thing is empty. I just have no idea what I could possibly use and any help would be very much appreciated.

You could use a portable drill to make one or two 1/2″ holes. Then you can make cuts with a sabre saw. It will be noisy, with a lot of plastic dust (don’t breathe that), but it should work.
If you can unseal the trunk that might be more satisfactory in the long run. A spade or Forstner bit will work better than a regular twist drill.
On second thought, the best tool would be the straight-shanked reamer – like a milling bit – that comes with a Dremel set. The first hole can be smaller – 1/8″ would do. The Dremel bit cuts laterally, in any direction. It will make less dust and noise, but it needs to revolve faster than a drill bit, hence the Dremel or equivalent.
BTW, saw blades for plastic need to be fine, else they snag. I use a circular saw blade with 200 teeth.
You might try using a sharp serrated knife. The kind you get at the dollar store that will cut through garden hoses.
utility knife w/ new blade
big butcher knife thick gloves. put gloves on,take butcher knife stab hole in the side as high up as you can reach. punch knife all the way in to the handle or an inch or 2 out, then push don plastic, if it is to strong for knife to cut easily, you have started a hole get a small wood cutting saw with a thin blade like for cutting tree limbs and use hole you started and start sawing, use the thin blade with big teeth cuts easier. Do same thing again start at the top as wide apart as you need to gain entry area needed. pull flap down and try to push lid up and over the end towards driver or passenger side of car which ever will give you more room climb in see if you can reach lock mechanism. if you can’t start sawing again on that side. If you don’t want to use hand saw use electric reciprocating saw, you’ll be through in minutes.
If you can get the vin # of the car then go to a dealer they can get you a key for your trunk.
